Update 8/7/2024: It was the default resolution of the device that was bing connected. It exceeded the 1920 x1080 max resolution of this device. So before disconnecting the monitor on the device you will be sending, Change its resolution to be in the supported range :-)Notice when I had a second person sitting at the remote monitor. They saw the splash screen of the NVR then it when away. That told me these worked, and it was something else on my end.Stars updated.Original Review.I purchased this to test a solution for work and home use. Basically, remote security monitor ,remote Production board and HR remote monitor. Out of the box it worked with a patch cable on my test equipment. Zero issues. However, the fun began when I moved it to the switches and to the actual NVR I wanted to remote share...Here some of my notes to support:OREI EX-330-KVM - HDMI Over IP Extender with USB KVM Function (150m)The units only work when direct connected with a Cat 6 patch cable. When they are connected to my Managed Unifi USW Lite 16 PoE only the Receiver report receiving an IP and they do not connect (They are plugged into port 11 and 13) Please note I did try a ton of fancy network things ... No Joy...When Connected to my Dumb 16 port Netgear Gigabit switch which is then uplinked to the Unifi Switch it still fails. The receiver shows no connection but displays it did pick up DHCP IP Address. When just connected to the Dumb Switch they still do not connect to each other (Nothing displayed on remote monitor and the receiver reports IP of 192.168.10.11 on said monitor)At this point there appears to be an issue with the Encoder, as it will not pickup dhcp, and thus will not work over the network.I have done resets times, to no result. All my equipment works great. these are the New in this configuration.Guess we will see if its customer issue or manufacturing issue.
