If you ever wondered who actually uses those little packets that come cut flowers, I’m one of them. I used to crush aspirins to put in with the cut flowers before the age of online shopping. I finally broke out of my habit of aspirin or included pouch of unknown powder.We like to have flowers in the house, but like so many other things, cut flowers have become more expensive. I’m glad I have this cut flower food to give me at least another week from my arrangements. I can’t swear that every bunch of flowers will live two weeks longer - I’ve never purchased two the same flower bunch, putting this liquid in one and nothing in the other, but it definitely seems like they’ve lasted noticeably longer. The photo of tulips was taken after we had the flowers for some time, we were starting to get some sagging, but the majority stayed strong and stiff. The other two are photos that were taken fairly soon after making the arrangements, but they continued adding to the look of our room for many days.I’ve had people comment on my flower arrangements and ask me if it was the same flower arrangement I had the previous week. I’ve even had a visitor insist that the arrangement was made of artificial contents.This isn’t going to change your life, but it does do a good job of extending the life of your flower arrangements.
