This bag is wonderful! First, the bag is made of extremely durable materials outside and in. The rubbery material on the inside keeps the dog food smelling just as fresh as when we put it in and keeps the oils from reaching the outside layer of the bag. This interior material also makes the bag easy to wipe out and keep clean. The outside material is tough enough that we can throw it into the back of a vehicle, pack it into our camping gear, shove it into our climbing packs etc. all without a worry that we'll rip it open. Next, the fold over and roll type enclosure is excellent for knowing that the bag is really sealed. Once you close it you can squeeze the bag and no air transfers through the rolled over closure. This rolling over option also allows you to make the bag smaller if you don't need all of it's compacity. Then, the clip closure, when closed, creates an excellent handle for carrying the bag around even when it's stuffed to compacity. Finally, the orange color we chose makes this bag easy to find even when it's buried among camping supplies or out on the ground.I can't verify the exact cup quantity listed but I know we've carried enough food for our, currently, 60 lbs, yellow lab pup for a week and a half in this bag with room to spare. I can say that adjustability of the size and compacity of this bag make it highly versatile. Having a bag much larger than this would make it's weight too much to manage easily and comfortably carry around.We're thrilled with this purchase and will buy more when we add more furry companions to the family!
