Best food Spice has been on for her many food allergiesWe have 2 small dogs and they both find this food both edible and helpful with their food allergiesProduct great. Cost suckedMy dog was admitted to emergency vet hospital and released after 2 nights. He had blocked intestines and inflamed organs. 3 days after his release he showed the same symptoms and I took him back. They did Nothing, MRI, said still blocked and unflammed and thrn sent him home! I called a different emergency vet hospital. And took him there. They said he would not have survived a day if I hadn’t brought him. He was there 1 1/2 weeks. They. Got the blockage out and body systems calmed and then experimented to see if this food would work. It did! He has been on this as prescription diet with sweet potatoes for treats for 1 1/2 years now and is thriving. His ear fringe is growing since he isn’t scratching his ears and his fur is soft and shining (papillon) he has had no more crise my hearing dog is super sensitive due to having been fed Dogswell chicken jerky {which should have been recalled) whenhe was in training. This food has made all the difference and I highly recommend it. I only wish the seller still offered the larger bags. We freeze it to save money. Thanks for an excellent product. It sucks that this is the only kibble that’s safe for my puppy to eat cause of all of his allergies; because it’s outrageously expensive! We adopted a beautiful pointer-hound mix who seems to be having stomach issues with certain foods. Until we find out what exactly he is allergic to, we are using this dry food and our beautiful pooch . He is doing very well with this food, and that makes us and him very happy. You do need a prescription or ok from your vet and the food is expensive, but our pooch is a member of our family and he is worth it.My dog stopped scratching! My dog developed dilated cardiomyopathy after being on this diet for 2 years. It is a grain free diet which I now know increases his risk of dilated cardiomyopathy. My dog now requires daily medicine to prevent heart failure and likely has a shortened life. It breaks my heart that the vet didn’t discuss this and my boy now has a disease associated with this. I recommend having your vet consider derm complete by Hills instead. It is not worth the risk to do grain free.
