I have a bunch of assorted catfish and they all think this is a super yummy treat. I've been feeding them this for years. Definitely a repeat buyer. This product is great for catfish and other bottom feeding fish. The pellets sink immediately and take time to break down. My catfish look for them as soon as they sense that they were dropped I. The tank.We rescued our Blood Parrots from a home that could no longer take care of them. They had the same food for almost nine years. We ordered this because it was similar to what we had been buying (their usual food) but no one on Amazon had it. They love it! Will be buying it again.Easy to feed it to my very large and old Plex fish and he eats it all.I used to have to use a lot of the last kind I bought till I found these now like 1 or 2 pellets per fish an they are done also it's been about 30 days since I started this kind of food and they have increased in size. Lol not sure why must be some serious protine in them lol but my fish love them and seem happy and heathy an not hungry all the time like they use to so I'm satisfiedThese pellets are very small about half or 1/3 of a grain of rice. They sink to the bottom of the tank so works for bottom feeders. Pellets being so small if you have large bottom gravel they can easily fall into the cracks.A must buy for those ever hungry fish like tiger barbs lolReceived this a day earlier than expected. My fish seem to enjoy this brand. In my aquarium I have two Reed Fish / Rope fish , they are fussy with dry foods and prefer live or frozen , other fish Jack Dempsey and Four line Pim also gorge on live / frozen as well as my staple , my staple is NLS – Thera- A but the reed never eat it , but they love these pellets and it allows me to feed live once a week and have the ease of feeding pellets , these float for a bit and then sink so are useful for fish higher in the water column, recommended .I’ve used this for a few years now and my fish love them. My loaches go crazy for them the second they hit the ground. I recommended my mom to try them for her fish too and she said she was amazed at their reaction and her fish clearly enjoyed them as well. They breakdown as the fish eat them but keep their shape till they get munched on. I don’t find they cloud the water all and the ease of breakdown allows the fish to eat them without needing to swallow them whole which could be difficult for some fish since they are a decent sized pellet.Unfortunately for the bottom feeders, the pellets don't sink right away and the rest of the fish seem to be playing soccer with them. All our fish love them. Not 100% sinking. More than half of the pellets don't sink. Tried soaking them before dropping them in the tank helps a bitWhen I drop these in the the water they seem to get a little air bubble attached to them for a second or two causing them to float just below or on the surface for a moment before they drop slowly to the bottom. It gives the fish a chance to zero in on them before they go. The fish love them.
